INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN PILOTS

The Ninety-Nines was founded by a group of 99 licensed women pilots in 1929 to provide mutual support and advancement of aviation.  The organization remains vibrant and relevant today, and aims to:

  • Promote world fellowship through flight,
  • Provide networking and scholarship opportunities for women, and aviation education in the community,
  • Preserve the unique history of women in aviation.


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please join us for another fun get-together with area ladies from Ladies in Flight Training (LIFT) on Saturday, November 17th.  We will meet at Rick’s Boatyard across from Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE) at 11:00.  Please let Linda know if you plan to attend so she can make reservations!  Feel free to bring a guest (or two)!

Our annual Christmas Luncheon will be December 15th at the Cheesecake Factory in Greenwood.
