International Organization of Women Pilots

The Ninety-Nines was founded by a group of 99 licensed women pilots in 1929 to provide mutual support and advancement of aviation.  The organization remains vibrant and relevant today, and aims to:
  • Promote world fellowship through flight,
  • Provide networking and scholarship opportunities for women, and aviation education in the community,
  • Preserve the unique history of women in aviation.

Announcements:

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Margaret Jane Ringenberg.  Please read more about her life here and in an article Nancy wrote for her local newspaper here.

Nancy and Linda flew to Atchison, Kansas for the 2008 International Forest of Friendship annual ceremony.  Read all about it here!  Check out the pictures, too!

We're so excited to announce that Nancy has published her book, "Wings of My Own!"

Help support fellow 99 CarolAnn Garratt as she attempts to set a record flying around the world in 7 days - and raise a million dollars for ALS research!  Learn more here.
